The product

Every screen here is a real Klyro screen.

No mock-ups, no illustrated dashboards, no invented numbers. This is the software, in the order a job actually moves through it.

01 · Setup

It asks what you do, then builds itself around the answer.

Pick your trades and Klyro adds the matching starter services, certificate templates and document defaults — and tells you exactly what it is adding before it does. Nothing is switched on quietly.

It also asks the question most systems leave you to discover later: how you price. VAT in, VAT out, or not registered — and how much detail the customer sees on a quote.

Your trades
Klyro setup asking what work the business takes on, offering Gas Safe and heating, plumbing, air source heat pumps and air conditioning, and noting that the answer builds the service and certificate templates.
How you price
Klyro setup asking how prices should be entered — excluding VAT, including VAT, or not VAT registered — and how quotes display by default: itemised pricing, total only with items listed, or a summary and total.

02 · Booking and intake

Take the work while your hands are full.

A booking page in your name, showing your services with your durations and your prices. Drop it onto the website you already have — there are ready-made embeds for WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Astro and plain HTML — or use it as your booking page.

Requests do not land straight in the diary. They queue for review, and you approve, propose alternatives, ask for more information, or decline.

Customer-facing booking
The trade's own Klyro booking page, step one of four, asking the customer what they need and listing boiler service at £102, boiler repair quote on request, diagnosis at £90 and a CP12 gas safety check at £78, all including VAT.
Review queue
The Klyro booking-request queue holding two pending requests — Nadia Hussain reporting no hot water upstairs, and Jamie Fielding wanting an annual boiler service and safety check — each with call, request-info, propose-alternatives, decline and approve actions.
Embed
Klyro website-embed settings offering a booking page and customer portal as a combined widget, with copy-ready snippets for HTML, WordPress, Astro, Squarespace and Wix.

03 · Customers, properties, appliances

Three levels, because that is how the work is actually shaped.

A customer can have more than one property. A property can have more than one appliance. Each appliance carries its own identity and its own history — service visits, certificates, parts fitted, documents, lifecycle.

That structure is what lets a job arrive with context instead of an address and a phone number.

Customers get their own way in, too — a portal carrying your name, your number and your Gas Safe registration.

Customer
A Klyro customer record for Aisha Patel with contact details, address, quick actions to message, quote, produce a certificate or open the live job, plus her jobs, her property and its appliances, and lifetime value.
Appliance
A Klyro appliance record for an Ideal Logic+ 30 boiler in a kitchen, showing GC number, serial, flue and warranty, with tabs for overview, service history, certificates, parts, documents and lifecycle.
Customer portal
The Klyro customer portal sign-in: see all your jobs, quotes and invoices in one place, with a single-use sign-in link sent by email and no password to remember.

04 · Schedule and dispatch

One diary, whether it holds one person or four.

Day, three-day, week and month views. Filter by engineer or status, show only the late ones, fold absences and bank holidays in. A dispatch overview tells you what today looks like, and unassigned work sits where you cannot miss it.

Raising a job starts from who you already know, not from an empty form.

Week view
The Klyro week schedule for 10 to 16 August 2026: a dispatch overview reading two booked and four engineers, engineer filters for Alex Morrison, Ben Carter, Jamal Okonkwo and Priya Patel, bank-holiday chips, day columns and an unassigned-work panel.
New job
Raising a new job in Klyro: pick a customer the business already has, then a job type — boiler service, boiler repair, CP12 gas safety, boiler installation or diagnosis — then a date, an arrival window and an engineer.

05 · On site

The job screen is the work, not a form about the work.

The fault in the customer's own words, the appliance it belongs to, the access and safety brief, the safety state, and a timer that runs while you do. Status moves from scheduled to en route to on site to complete.

Completion is deliberately a sequence. A departure safety check. Your attestation, which never stands in for the customer. Then their signature, captured separately — or a recorded reason they were not there, which does not silently become one.

Issuing a certificate is a job record. Klyro does not treat it as proof you delivered it.

Job in progress
A Klyro job card mid-visit: an emergency for Zainab Okafor in Reading on a Vaillant ecoTEC Plus 832 in the kitchen, the crew on the job, a clock that can be started, what the engineer is working on, and a checklist of what must be done before the visit can be finished.
Sign-off
Klyro on-site sign-off: a required engineer signature for Amara Clarke, an optional customer signature with its own field, an alternative field to record why the customer was absent, and a Complete job button disabled until one is provided.
Completion record
The Klyro completion record showing engineer attestation, customer acknowledgement and certificate evidence as three independent rows, none relabelled as another.

06 · Parts and margin

Cost, markup, sell price, stock. In that order, on every part.

Keep the catalogue once and the margin stops being something you work out in someone's kitchen. Minimum stock levels tell you what the van is about to run out of.

On site, the picker narrows a catalogue of thousands to what fits the appliance in front of you. The part lands on the job, and on the invoice, at the price you set.

Parts catalogue
The Klyro parts catalogue with category chips and sorting, listing parts with cost price, markup, sell price, stock and minimum stock — a CO alarm at £22 cost and 40 per cent markup selling at £30.80, a carbon monoxide detector at £28 and 20 per cent selling at £33.60, a fan assembly at £85 selling at £106.25.
On-job picker
The Klyro add-part-to-job panel offering to show only parts compatible with this boiler, a search field containing pump, and filters for All, System, Boiler, Consumable and General.

07 · Quotes, invoices, payment

The commercial trail stays attached to the operational one.

A quote carries its own timeline — created, sent, accepted, with dates — and converts into the job rather than being re-typed as one. Customers can approve it themselves.

The invoice inherits the work: labour and parts, priced from your catalogue, with VAT handled the way you told setup you handle it.

And chasing is built in — reminders, a payment link by SMS, a copyable link, or recording a payment taken on the doorstep. You can also pause chasing when a customer needs a moment.

Quote, accepted
A Klyro quote for £540 marked accepted, with a Convert to Job action, its timeline of created, sent and accepted dates, itemised material and labour, and a financial summary showing the margin.
Chasing
A Klyro invoice marked overdue: £288 due against £0 paid, weeks past its due date, with actions to record the payment, pause chasing, send a reminder or send a payment link by SMS.
Line items
Klyro invoice line items: a boiler service silver package of 1.5 hours at £75 as labour, a CO alarm at £30.80 and flue gas analyser filters at £18 as parts, subtotalling £145.83 with VAT at 20 per cent of £29.17.

08 · Recurring work and automation

The work that comes back is the work worth having.

Build service plans at your prices, with what each one includes and what it entitles the customer to — an annual service, a CP12, priority booking, a discount on repairs — and put customers onto them.

Automation rules handle the rest: a certificate nearing expiry triggers a renewal reminder, a completed job emails the invoice, a new job sends the customer a confirmation. Switch one on and stop thinking about it.

Service plans
Two Klyro service plans the trade sells to its own customers: Boiler Cover Basic at £8.99 a month with an annual service, priority booking and ten per cent off repairs, and Boiler Cover Gold at £19.99 a month adding a CP12 and unlimited callouts with parts and labour covered.
Automation rules
Klyro automation recipes ready to switch on: an expired-quote follow-up SMS, a certificate-renewal email, an overdue-invoice chase SMS, a review request after a completed job, and a text to the customer when an engineer cannot get in.

See it with your own work in it

A screenshot only proves so much.

Set Klyro up around your trade and run a real job through it — booking to certificate to invoice — before you decide anything.
